Marine Turtle Grants Program

The Caribbean Conservation Corporation (CCC) and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) collaborated on a legislative initiative to transfer administrative responsibilities for the sea turtle grants program from FWC to the CCC.

The Caribbean Conservation Corporation (CCC) and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) collaborated on a legislative initiative to transfer administrative responsibilities for the sea turtle grants program from FWC to the CCC. The bill accomplishing this change was approved by the Florida Legislature and went into effect on July 1, 2003.
