Applicants to the Nongame Wildlife Grants Program should be aware of other funding options for their projects:

Advisory Council on Environmental Education
The Advisory Council on Environmental Education (ACEE) grant program makes funds available for developing and implementing environmental education projects in the state of Florida. Solicitations for proposals on specific topics in environmental education are issued annually, generally in February.

Florida Plant Conservation Program
The Florida Plant Conservation Program of the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services' Division of Forestry provides support for Florida plant projects through federal matching funds. Projects should deal with Florida's federally listed plant species and/or species of concern, work toward the recovery of the species, and focus on monitoring and management of the species on public land. Proposals are currently evaluated individually.
