FWC FISH AND WILDLIFE RESEARCH INSTITUTE ANNOUNCES MARINEQUEST 2008

Mark your calendar for the 14th annual MarineQuest at the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s (FWC) Fish and Wildlife Research Institute (FWRI) on Saturday, Apr. 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Enjoy an award-winning open house at the FWRI headquarters at 100 8th Ave. S.E., in downtown St. Petersburg. This free event allows visitors of all ages to experience science first-hand at over 30 exhibits.  Visitors can handle live animals in the touch tank, interact with some of Florida’s top scientists, look through microscopes, make fish prints at the “Gyotaku” station and much more!
